Having a spot of bother
Getting error 691 user/password not recognised .... maybe authentication problem.

Am using *******@idnet.gw5
password ea3*****
phone no. 08456021131

Any ideas please Rik?

Rik

You use the same username and password as you do for ADSL, Rick, so if they are correct, you'd best talk to IDNet.

Have Win7 64bit and am getting precisely nowhere with 56k dial up due to incompatibility issues with modems. Eg: all settings correct but met with error code 691 before I hit IDNet.
IDNet state I have modem compatibility after checking out all settings so, anyone successfully using win7/64 dial up, pls advise which modem/settings you're using.
Thanks in advance
