Tried to contact the support email at IDnet, but got it returned as it's apparently spam. Yet the email is ABOUT SPAM which I have been recieving!  :slap:

Got loads of these in the past few days, all of which are CCed to other "@idnetfreemail.co.uk" accounts;

From: Premier Players Club [mailto:noreply@uzpak.uz]

Only from the most noble of all casinos you could except such a Regal gift:

300% Bonus on your First Deposit!

Deposit 100€/$ and Play with 400€/$!

And on top of that, a service at such a level you would not find in the best Royal Families of Europe.

Come and play at Premier Players Club!

Any ideas? I have about 5 rules to stop spam at the minute but this one is hard, the sent address all start "noreply@", but I can't block that.

Seems silly I can't attach one of these emails to send to IDnet as it flags as spam, yet I recieve the email? surely that filter could be applied to my mail as well?

Edit: website address removed.

Simon

Can you copy the spam email to Notepad and attach it as a text document, John?

Would it be an idea for a mod to blank/hide the web address?
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Rik

Good catch, Ben, thanks.  :thumb:

Have attached the file with my email removed/changed, PM me if you need to know that specific part.

I added maybe four of the headers, message content all the same bar different URLs, but the headers change, so there's a few for you.

Thanks a lot,

Simon

Sorry, Joel, I've removed the attachment because it contained data which can't be posted on a public forum.

The idea was that you forwarded the email as an attachment to IDNet themselves.  Their email is support[at]idnet.net.  :)

Right, sorry about that. May I ask what data is innapropriate? Purely out of personal interest

Will forward it to them

thanks for the help

Simon

There were several other email addresses and IP addresses included in the text, hence privacy concerns.  :)

Ah of course, how foolish of me.

Had assumed the attachments were members only, but I suppose it's still not brilliant

Sorry about that
