Phone line routing

Hey all.

Does anyone know if phone line re-routing improves your line?

I've still got the same line attenuation, but since BT re-routed the phone line I've noticed the noise margin hardly moves.

I suppose it could make it better or worse depending on sources of interference that may or not be in the vicinity of the re routing.
