I think it's much the same as the Desire.  Is there a problem with it?

Criticism I have of HTC stuff is the location of the antennas, why put them at the bottom where you hold the handset?

Simon

Because of the 'brain frying' scare when they were at the top?   ::)

Got that phone.  Bought it from Amazon unlocked and new.  Works fine and love the speak to searh google bar.  Had no problems with it for the past 6 months.  Nice and small and easy to use.

Thanks all for some reason has not notifications of replies  :dunno: except Alfs  looks good and from what Alf said it sounds good I understand it has a faster browser as my bb is slow most of the time .
It could be here in the morning so we will see .Really Joanne has a PAYG bb and that is too costly £1 a day used or not and I find I am shelling out minimum £40 a month for that so thought if I get another contract and give Joanne the contract and I will keep the phone so I will have the option of either keeping both or selling on of them my bb or the HTC if it proves a better phone although I do like the bb but have not compared it with any other phone

Thanks again all

You're probably paying data charges on Jo's phone, David.  Have a look for a data inclusive contract, sim only, and that should work out cheaper.

This deal I got Simon was £11 a month for that 250 texts I think it was 50 mins calls and 750 mb internet but Joanne does not use her phone to chat she texts and goes on FB more often than not and I thought this deal was pretty good with the phone Free with the deal although nowts free but I will be easier knowing she wont be cut off becuase of credit issues which I top up online but all the same I will be happier not doing that each month but she is very good when it comes to using her phone she has only ever run out because of the £1 a day not due to excessive use

Bear in mind that Facebook will be using data.

Sorry, I'm confused.  Not difficult, I know!  Where does the £1 per day come into it?

the BB tsriff he's on charges up to a quid for data when used per day.

Sounds like the phone is syncing anyway which is why you are being charged a quid a day even though services are not knowingly being used.

You need to deactivate data traffic (Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Untick Data Enabled.
