Here are some stats from yesterday
Data Rate Up Stream 448 (Kbps.)
Down Stream 6620 (Kbps.)

Noise Margin
Upstream 26 dB
Downstream 15 dB

Attenuation
Upstream 25 dB
Downstream 22 dB

and this is today
Data Rate Up Stream 1274 (Kbps.)
Down Stream 13769 (Kbps.)

Noise Margin
Upstream 7 dB
Downstream 5 dB

Attenuation
Upstream 12 dB
Downstream 25 dB

My phoneline went down this morning so god knows what has happened, i'm not complaining tho

Looks like you have been moved to ADSL 2+ or LLU, will a BT speedtest run?

Yep, that's ADSL2+/LLU. I had almost exactly the same stats to you before *and* after.
CompuServe 28.8k/33.6k 1994-1998, BT 56k 1998-2001, NTL Cable 512k 2001-2004, 2x F2S 1M 2004-2008, IDNet 8M 2008 - LLU 11M 2011

for some reason the btspeedtester only gave me the speed
1. Best Effort Test:
Download Speed : 11 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 1.08 Mbps

As the BT speedtest ran, I believe you are on an ADSL2+ connection now.

i know bt have been doing a bit of work in the area this past week, probably due to the fact that fttc is supposed to be going live at the end of march

Oddly, my connection has been fixed for about 3 weeks. I come home today and suddenly I'm back to a 6mb line. What the friggin hell is going on with my shite connection? So fed up with it being random :( I've lost 6mb overnight.

i also have been having these problems since yesterday, support staff say..
no problem logged by BT. would also like to know what's going on!!!
