Wi-FI HTTP proxy keepalive app for Android?

To use our Wi-fi network at work you have to sign into a webpage that you are directed to by the nameservers but it seems it times out if it doesn't get an HTTP request every so often meaning I cant use POP e-mail etc.

Anyone know of an app that will run in the background and generate these requests every 30 seconds or so?
