Sorry if this is already mentioned but a simple search didn't come up with anything.

Is the Modem owned by BT? I read somewhere that it is?

My question is that my exchange should be done by the end of this month but I will probably be moving within 6 months.

What happens when I move? Can i take the modem? Will they charge me?

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  :)
Vrooooooooooom........oh wait. Whats happened?

They are owned by BT as far as I know. Also if you are moving in 6 months, be aware that there is a 12 month contract period for Fibre services, it's not transferable to another property, so you would have to buyout the remaining contract.

.Griff.

They're owned by Openreach and leased as part of the service.

So if I got it and then moved, apart from paying myself out of contract I take the modem with me or return and have to pay for another?

You would need to pay for a fresh install on moving.
