Hey all,

Just a quick question, during a storm today i got unbareable packetloss 'wonkey' speeds (expected ;)) - however 5 or so hours on my speeds have stablised along with the packetloss...but are half of what they were this morning....can i expect them to pick up tomorrow or....?

Hopefully you'll be fine today Avenger - If not get onto CS to dignose the line then I guess it's then down to a process of elimination on your end hardware ?

As an aside - my satellite service went pixellated and sound de-sync'd with what little picture there was yesterday. At one point eveything became unavailable. It's back now though.

It is likely that the storm has caused a reductiion in your profile due to the high packet loss. The BT DLM should notice your increase (back to normal) and adjust your profile back again. However, the reductions take place almost immediatley whereas the increases (in profile) take 3 days (of consistently high line speed) to be put into place.

We strongly recommend that you unplug your modem from your phone line during electrical storms.
