Baz

does any one use this software and whats it like.

pctech

Run it myself and not had any issues with it.

It runs as a service and browser plugin and kicks in when you visit a partner website to prevent malware taking screenshots of the screen with your banking sign on details or account numbers on.

Have a read of this, myself I think its not worth using, it has caused some people issues and has also been known to be  a git to uninstall. A decent AV and  on demand scanner should be enough. http://blackphi-ramblings.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/trusteer-rapport-problems.html
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

One of their updates last year, caused all the PC's at work with it installed to black screen (just a blank display), remove it and they worked fine again.

I don't think it gets on with Sophos all that well as I know things went a bit awry when I installed it at work but as I say no issue at home but the only add-ons I have installed are Java, Flash and Shockwave and the Netcraft toolbar which shows me who owns the IP of the server hosting the page I am currently viewing.

Rik

It caused me nothing but grief, I binned it and told the bank why.

Has anyone tried Immunet?  It seems quite efficient and quiet.
