Intermittent problems

Last night my connection dropped somewhere just after midnight, and today I've had problems where nothing will connect or will only connect very slowly for 5-10 minutes, then it works again, then problems again.
Some examples:

Anyone else having similar problems or is this a local thing? I'm just outside Swindon in Wiltshire. Haven't had consistent problems like this since christmas.

There was a fairly major BT problem last night that started at about 00:15, but it should be OK now. See this topic:

Have you tried the usual powering the modem/router down for 20 minutes or so?
