But not to worry, spoke with a very plesant lady on support so fingers crossed! I do love IDNet, the service is so refreshing!  :thumb:

Not sure whats happened, but i am just getting, start PPP and then error username or password. Double checked, all seems correct and nothing has been altered authentication wise since i joined. Any thoughts peeps?

Tried a reboot and a 30 min power down. No joy.

No bt issues that i can see, and adsl is up and sync'd.

Cheers!  :dunno:

Sounds like an authentication problem, email support if you can, stating you can't connect, you can call again, but it will be picked up by the out of hours service in east Anglia, and a message forwarded to support tomorrow.

Are you FTTC ?

I had this problem and same message, username/password rejected when I got upgraded to 80/20.

Brian & BT was doing checks and nothing came back as being faulty until BTo came out and it turned out the modem was faulty.

If you are FTTC try powering down the modem over night and trying again in the morning, I know it sounds silly but I've found sometimes this works as it cools down the modem etc.

If your not FTTC then I don't know, please ignore  ;D

Woo back up and running!

BT had messed up and got our line crossed with another residence a few doors down.  :)  Brian sorted me out and all back up and running!

Thanks IDNet!!  :D
