hahaha well it is something I have asked the wife frequently, living rural is nice and the house is nice, but give me a semi detached house next to the exchange any day!

incidentally, i have only just managed to test using speedtester

and the following came back

i guess i should be grateful i now have a v stable connection.

It slow and stable,although we've seen in the last couple of years small companies taking an interest in rural broadband,in one instance the whole community got together and employed a company to install a fibre system.

hi. thought i would check back and report on my stats.

more out of interest.

the line has not dropped out for nearly a year. before this router drop outs were frequent. not sure on speed still or if anything can be done in that respect??
