Apparently though they are changing the connector so you'll need all new accessories.

On their bike!  They'll have to provide an adapter.   >:(

My mates wife bought the S3 the other day. I had a fiddle with it the other night, and she didn't mind ;D

I have to say though, the S3 seems MUCH flimsier than the S2, almost like a wafer. I really wouldn't have faith in that lasting long. My iphone 4s has been knocked about a fair bit recently and works perfectly (although it seems to get flaky when it's nearly at storage capacity, like refusing to record video the other night). I'll have to have another look at it again, but I really feel that if people are looking for a phone that is sturdy, they'll avoid the S3 and go iphone, as I would think that thing would snap if you sit down with it in your pocket!

No idea about this new iphone, but I've got 20 months left on my contract with this iphone 4S, so the iphone 6 and S4 will be out by then :D

Be careful if you near storage capacity, Niall.  I actually filled mine up accidentally by videoing (didn't realise how much they ate up!) over Christmas, and had great difficulty moving anything off it, to the computer.  I think it must need some 'headroom'.

If the rumour proves to be correct I'd imagine they will switch to this: http://www.apple.com/thunderbolt/
