I had a phone call from Sky yesterday telling me that they now offer up to 16 meg in my area. What is the diffrence between LLU and normal ADSL Max ? I am happy with my ISP and know that Skys C/S is not the best ,but would LLU suit my problem line better ?

LLU can use different technology to achieve higher speeds, Bill. As it's not subject to BT's rules, things like profiles tend not to exist. However, the laws of physics still apply, and the length and condition of your line will still be a limiting factor.

Personally, I wouldn't have anything to do with Sky, but Be seem to have a good reputation and may well be in your exchange.

No Bill, LLU will not make any difference to your line and at best you may get around 6MB but.....

the service is awful, take a look around at the review sites for that and if you don't like it and migrate from LLU to adslMax mostISP's charge £50 for the pleasure.

You will not get the level of service you are looking for that is certain.
