Probably, I gather with 8 licence keys are being distributed electronically to manufacturers, I wonder how long it'll be before MS insists that instead of connecting to a preinstallation server new machines are connected to a network with a VPN link direct to Redmond and use PXE to download the image directly from Redmond's servers?

Even though it doesn't save much dosh, I'm glad I build all my machines and install the OS myself.

The world is becoming a dangerous place, computer wise.

That's nothing. One PC/Laptop company in America uses it's own backdoor installed in the BIOS. It's near enough impossible to remove. So either the company (do you trust it's staff?), or a savy hacker, has a access to a lot of laptops.  :slap:
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Never mind JB, the cloud will save the humble computer user, just pay up and trust it </sarcasm>
