If only.

If they cut down on the copper, they will reduce the theft.

But BT are doing FTTH from the cab next year?

So eventually anyone that can get FTTC will be able to extend the fibre to their door for a cost.

Its 2012, I should really be able to get a fibre connection for what I currently pay for 3-4Mbps ADSL2+

Technical Ben

It's 2012 and most of us will be fortunate to be able to get food.  ;)

Good point, Ben, food price inflation is going to be painful in the next 12 months.

Yep excellent point Ben.

Let's hope Cameron is quick to spread the privilege eh? (he mentioned that the Tories weren't just the party of the better off but those who strive to be better off)

Tell that to the unemployed and those who are facing redundancy or are facing salary cuts or had salary cuts.

An income tax cut would be nice.

Technical Ben

Nah, I'm going to concentrate on putting my effort into where it matters the most and just do my best. I'm not expecting any powers that be in Government (any which one) to fix anything soon sadly.
