I agree, IE6 sucks. I spend about 20% of a site build fixing IE6 issues.

I have IE6, 7, 8, 9 + 10, FireFox 3.6 & latest, Chrome latest, Safari 5.1 & Opera 12.

Not sure Simon: I agree with low latency and QoS on your network (though I'm not sure how it stacks up say against Sky who've also been investing heavily in their/Easynet backhaul network), which does matter to an "expert" minority of home users as well as some businesses (though I always find it surprising how many businesses use the cheap n'cheerful services and won't pay more).

What I've never understood, or found, is that IDNet have more clout with BT who run the network to the PoP handovers - the mass market call-centres have improved, not least because of different levels of support and UK based support, and the use of BT's white label services; and I thought you now had less direct control over their part of the network than ever? I hear for instance of some very persistent and conscientious efforts on the part of Plusnet for those with FTTC issues rather than just the "sorry the BTOR acceptable speeds are minimum 12Mbps".

Plusnet IS BT so I doubt they have that hard of a job if it amounts to them losing a customer.

Remember, Retail, Wholesale and OR all are owned by BT Group plc which is the holding company so same company.

I know it's easy to be cynical (done it myself) but from the experiences I read about that is not how the show is run at all.

Although it's a £1 more, I think a 25GB flat rate is better than the 10/30 I have right now. I was only hoping for 15 on the old setup on ASDL2, but BT can not pull their [redacted] into gear and install it on my exchange. End of the month is the latest deadline, so I'll probably upgrade then and get the boost in speed too!

The reason I prefer it to be done at the ISP's end rather than using the limiter built into the router is that the metering at the ISP is what they base their charge on so it'll stop any excess charges being levied.

I did say early days and like most changes it takes time to get used to but now you mention it yes 2 clicks to the price page, thanks now I know where it is.

Sometimes I use webmail  to get there I      Log In at top right of home page

that takes me to log in page, scroll down to the bottom   Services/Webmail........that takes me to Page Not Found page......click on Webmail Logins  at the bottom  then another click on Webmail.idnet.com

None of the links from this above method at the bottom of the page now work

Good thinking. Actually, I think I saw someone mention that and I thought "meh"    All working now. Not sure if I like the new packages though. The off peak allowance has gone. I think I shall stick with what I am on.

The fonts in the break out boxes below the picture look odd for me (running Chrome, prolly latest version). They are a bit faint with a white shadow. It might be because I have ClearType disabled.

Webkit engines seem to render fonts different to FF / IE9

Chrome also has issues with CSS3 text-shadow and the use of -webkit-font-smoothing & -webkit-text-stroke might help make the text better in chrome.
