im currently on Home Pro LLU   at £25.52 p/m   with  200GB allowance

the new packages shows the Pro package as  100GB allowance for a little bit more  but the 200GB allowance has a new name and gone up  £10.

Might I suggest that IDNet needs to send out an e-mail to all its existing customers to advise them of these changes. For example, what are the implications for customers who have paid an annual premium if they wish to change to the new packages? Personally, I would like to avail myself of that option as the off-peak allowance is of no great use to me. I appreciate that e-mailing all customers is a chore but it may save the Support staff from a lot of questions. All that said, it is good to see that IDNet has responded to its customers' concerns.

A Newsletter will be going out in due course.

As has always been the case, you can up/downgrade between packages at will, even if you have already taken the option to pay anually. Just drtop a line to Support.

Can you re-size the window to get a dynamically-shifted layout.

"a dynamically-shifted layout", what do you mean by that?

My current resolution is 2560 x 1440, the webpage more than fills that with the need to scroll down to view the menus.

If you pull the sides of your window in you should see the layout shift to suit the new window size.

Glenn

If I reduce the browser width by about 20% then it displays OK.

See here Baz, but you will need to request a change. http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,29121.msg694830.html#msg694830

The old packages have disappeared from the website, but you can check what you're on by logging onto the customer portal.

OK. So I cleared cache and flushed DNS as suggested. No change. Still cannot access the new site.

Have not done anything more in the last twenty minutes, now its working  :)

Oh Dear!  The prices for the cheaper packages have increased! Does that mean I will get charged more?

All the old packages remain unchanged, they are just no longer available for order. If you choose to upgrade to a newer package then the price for that package will apply.

OK Simon. Thanks.

Should the line rental cost be on that page too?

No as line rental is dependant upon the type of line. For standard analogue lines see the PSTN page.

If anyone needs instructions on clearing the Windows cache

Clearing the DNS cache

If you are using Windows XP:

Go to Start > Run and type cmd, then click OK

At the prompt type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter

Windows should confirm that the cache has been flushed, click the X button to close the window.

If using Vista/7

Go to Start (Windows logo in a circle) > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click Command Prompt and left click on Run As Administrator

At the prompt type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter

Windows should confirm that the cache has been flushed, click the X button to lose the window.

Quick question, are the allowances 24/7 or is the off peak time still in force

What are the overage charges?

There is no peak/off-peak for the new packages (the old packages remain unchanged).

No change to the overage charge - still £1/GB

If you pay for the whole year do you still only pay for 11 months?
