One of the replies may be you David? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kobobooks.android&hl=en

Sorry I'm not familiar with Android or Kobo. Are the books purchased from Kobo? Is another reader compatible i.e. Aldiko?  I know with Amazon your really stuck with the Kindle App but I did wonder whether a generic reader maybe an option.

This maybe helpful , it also may not be!  ;D http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169746

I think the likely fix is a download of a book from your library to your PC, a possible conversion with or without maintaining drm (obviously illegal) and then an import to an alternative reader.

This looks more promising but I can't test it out. http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157954

QuoteIt appears that Kobo doesn't store its epub files in a standard way, and hence Mantano doesn't find them. (Instead of storing them as an epub, which is mostly a renamed .zip file, it stores them as a directory with all of the files normally in the .epub in the directory.)

However, it is possible to download the epubs from Kobo using a browser, rather than using the Kobo app.

First you have to active Adobe DRM on your Vox in Mantano.

Then in a browser, go to kobobooks.com, log in, go to your library, download the epub you want (it actually downloads a URLLink.acsm file), then allow Mantano to open it.

Or failing that wait until it's fixed.  ;D
