I'm a bit puzzled. Speedtest.net is reporting a good download but below par upload:

But what really puzzles me is that I can't find anything else that claims that speed. Everything else including an Ubuntu download and Windows Server 2012 download is capping out at 3MB/s. Update - found one. The iPlayer tester reckons 70Mb/s.

Does anyone else with IDNet FTTC know of a download at present that actually runs fast? I'm beginning to think I'm the victim of a speedtest.net bug and that in truth my connection is screwed. For what it's worth the naff upload has been reported ever since Simon fixed the packet loss we saw. I also still have quite high latency on my line:

The red line is me powercycling my router.

My BT modem is reporting 79999/20000 connection.

Before Simon's fix I used to see this:

If iPlayer and Speedtest are quoting the higher download rate could you not be limited on the other downloads by their servers ability to deliver? Thinkbroadband I know have some test file downloads you may need a stopwatch as well.

Yeah. TBB test files show the same thing as does their tester. Their tester has been borked for upload for months but normally the download is about right.
