Anybody Max'd yet ???

I`m using a 632 and from what I can tell, firmware v3.6.0 (I`m using v3.4.0) only adds ADSL2+ support so I`m not gonna bother with it.

Reading the Netgear forums, it appears that some folk have had trouble with it. It does after all warn you not to install it if you aren`t on ADSL2+

Running the latest firmware for my netgear here.

The sync speed has dropped by ~900k since then though.

 I`ve been synced at 7.008Mbit for 25.5 hours now, SNR actually dropped to zero last night but it didn`t resync 

SNR is at 8 now ... Mr Saffron pointed me towards "crosstalk*" last night, I had been blaming contention for the drop in SNR during peak times but apparently contention does not alter SNR?

*Crosstalk is the term given to a scenario whereby other peoples telephones, extra electrical equipment (street lamps etc), atmosphere can affect your line quality*
