I think it's inevitable, I looked at the Logitech slimline keyboard today which also acts as a cover and has as slot to allow the iPad to stand just off the vertical, with this sort of technology available I find for me that upgrading larger hardware is becoming increasingly difficult to justify.

The most awesome thing about that video was that he was playing what looked like a N64 game. :D

I've been trying to convince myself I need an iPad for around 2 years but even when my son loaned me one I found it a nightmare to use.  My grandson has been using one since he was 2 and I've even seen children younger than that using them.   :dunno:  I suppose I could add that very cool "sent from my iPad" message to all my e-mails and just pretend I've got one.

Totally agree Clive though as someone that at the moment makes his living from supporting software running on PCs and Macs I suppose I'm a tad biased too.

My employer is starting to move more and more stuff online so am trying to equip myself with all the skills I need to do more server side stuff (though have always had to deal with servers a bit) or else risk redundancy in both job and skills.

Sent from my iPad would not convince you'd need a few spelling/wrong word errors as well. >:D

I think it's a bit tragic having 'Sent from my iPad' on all of your emails - who bloody cares?  There is an old joke that goes, how do you know when someone has an Apple device?  They tell you!   ;D

By the way, I have an iPhone, in case you didn't know.  ;)

I can do that!   ;D

It's free advertising. It is not the product, you are!  :o

Blackberry devices do the same by default.
