No idea Baz, I'm not an IDNet phone user and there's no copy of that page in the national webarchives either.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the phone alone packages changed, did they?

I'm still on an old phone package: if I click on Details on Phone package page of my account pages I get details of call charges for my line, and the rental and charges for any add-ons are shown in the electronic invoice. The only "missing" info is as far as I can see is that being on the old "Anytime Light" calls package there was/is a limit to the cumulative number of free calling minutes in a month - something like 300 (but I might be making that figure up!). Simple answer is to ask CS for the info you require (during office hours of course).

Baz

ok thanks every one.

Not sure Simon, I cant remember and Mervl thats the same package im on and yes I wanted to know  the allowances etc.

Thanks

Thank God for Google searches. Originally looking for a private firm specialising in dentures for my gran, via a thoroughly dull feature on Trident missiles and a male masseur Iden in Bulgaria, Google threw up this discussion about IDNET.

I had no idea things had changed. Did i miss the email?

Just a quickie question as i'm recovering from surgery and still under the influence of the anaesthetic: I previously subscribed to the Pro package, with no phone deal...just the broadband, but i notice the rewritten packages work out at about 50p extra for me, with a daily allowance of 100GB, i'd be making a small gain on my daily allowance in GBs as i can only receive ADSL but i should be grateful for small things.....as i told my ex wife on our honeymoon.

So if i get this right i simply change packages via the IDNET website and there's nothing else to do? I'm really not up to having to do much brain work right now but i can press a button or two. Thanks.

Simon

Firstly, there was no email.

Secondly, no we don't know why.  ;D

Thirdly, yes you can upgrade via the website and there's a little comments box where you can put something like "package upgrade only".

Fourthly, hope you feel better soon, and glad you dropped in!  :thumb:

Oh what a relief to speak to somebody, simon...anybody. Thanks for the prompt response, thanks to IDNET for the increases and thanks to Google's search results for false teeth that bought me here.....via a male masseur in Bulgaria.

Simon

Now we're starting to wonder what the surgery was!

The main difference with the new packages, is the lack of peak / off peak restrictions, so you can now use the whole allowance at any time.  :)

If it was 100GB a day it would be a bargain, its 100GB a month.  ;)
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Ooops....daily, monthly, must have got confused. Which explains why i poured a hot can of Heinz chicken soup all over my spotted dick. Lunchtimes will never seem the same again.

It's one way if that's what you mean. I don't think you can go back on to the legacy packages.

Unless you're asking about the chaRge, which only applies if you actually upgrade the service, not just the package, in which case, yes, they only charge you once per change of service.
