Our friends keep around a dozen sheep in the field behind their house and each year they breed lambs which they name.  Unsurprisingly, whenever we go there for dinner there is usually lamb on the menu and we are informed that we are eating Flossy's hind leg.     I'm not quite sure how they can be so attached to them and then slaughter them for the oven.
