Cheers Steve. All updated on iPhone and iPad without issue  :thumb:

I'm updating as I type. I'm hoping my iphone will stop crashing Safari and Facebook apps now. It's been peeing me off all month!

Facebook app is always buggy it crashed on messages for me, now photos. That's more to do with the app and Facebook Than the phone. Not had any issues with Safari though. Try rebooting the phone.

I get the odd unresponsiveness with Safari usually with a weak signal when accessing this forum, restarting  the App solves the problem.

I never really use the phone when out and about, 3G is so patchy where I live its not worth bothering with on O2. May move to EE but kind of loathed to go back to Orange/EE/Tmobile but they always had a good signal, its just customer service and plans are costly especially 4G which I think I will avoid for a year or so till companies and phones get a bit more polished. 3G drained battery like crazy when it first came out

Unless iOS 7 is something really special I will be looking at another handset anyway. iPhones cost to much and do very little compared with the competition now. Maybe a Galaxy Note 3 when that gets released or a Lumia windows 8 phone, the note 2 was great but the pen was a tad complicated. Nexus phones are also so much cheaper than iPhones. Can't see the next iPhone being anything amazing either, probably a speed bumped iPhone 5 with fixes. I wish Apple would use a more robust polycarbonate material like the new Nokias. I'm so bored with form over function from Apple, and I think I'm not the only one looking at the market. I would never buy a new imac now either, glued together tech is bad news and Intel graphics in the Mac Mini wont cut it for future proofing either.

Well in work today, after this update, the phone is taking ages to load pages not visited before. I thought it might just be certain forums/sites but it was every one I visited. I've restarted the phone since, but not had a chance to try since. Now I'm just wondering why my fftc is sucking major arse.

My update seems fine but for some reason it took a couple hours to apply the update and reboot the phone. I'm glad I left it alone as it got there in the end but I've no idea why it took so long.

It seemed more than an update , a complete re write obviously not losing user data though.

I did mine as I went to bed last night, and had intended to see it through, but the next thing I knew was it was morning, and it had been done!  No idea how long it took.

It finished 5 minutes before you woke up.

I woke to the grey walkthrough screen, which was a bit of a worry at first, as I thought it might have wiped everything, and I hadn't backed up, but after that it was fine.

As did I, but with my alarm going off!!! Couldn't turn the alarm off until after I had gone through the set-up screens, much to my wife's annoyance!

Yep this update is very poor for browsing. Battery life seems much better though. I'm wondering if 3G etc is in a sleep mode or something until you request a page to load. I can't think of any other reason why it's taking an age to load. Sharing links to Facebook, opening the sign in page here, etc.

Bugger out of time, break's over!

Oddly enough, my battery has run down quicker than usual today.  :dunno:

And I've not noticed any difference to battery nor browsing.

I have to agree neither the phone nor the iPad seems any different.

Yep this update sucks.

Constant failing of text messages being sent, webpages taking an age to respond or not at all. Wifi oddly seems better though. I'm wondering if the 3G signal strength is a work of fiction after this update.

Did you update via the phone itself, or via iTunes, Niall?  If the former, perhaps a restore using iTunes might help?  I've had none of the problems you've mentioned, in fact, despite my thinking my battery had run down sooner than usual, it's been fine since, and I've noticed no other difference from the update.

I've not had much cause to use 3G since the update but everything is fine over WiFi.

My mate recently bought the 4s and he has no issues. Wifi is definitely much better though, I dunno why.

Probably just the battery usage? Upped from a power save mode? Or just working net code now.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
