Anyone else got one of these?   I've had one for several months and love it.   It's great for anyone with poor eyesight as you can adjust the internal background lighting to suit so changing the contrast.   Of course you can also adjust the font and its size.   I would be lost without it now. :)

One thing that initially put me off Kindles was that you couldn't see them in the dark.  I do need to get my eyes tested, as I struggle with small print in dimmish light, but that sounds great, Noreen.  :)

The background lighting is adjustable over a wide range so it can suit most situations, Simon.   Also most of the books that I download are either free or under £1. ;D

My mum gave me her standard kindle. I have to say I don't like it. I am however, looking at the paper white one when I've had my two weeks off and have been to London.

I enjoy reading on my Kindle touch, haven't read a paperback for a long time. When it's dark  I either use the iPad Kindle app or the light on my Kindle case.
