I now have a connection I am happy with.  I am getting around 3.5 meg and a nice steady connection.  The final thing which helped my line was the router which I would recomend to anyone with a less then perfect line. I ended up using a BT 2700HGV. It realy works wonders. Just been curious can anyone tell me what all these stats mean ?

Basically, Bill, you're getting very few errors on your line.

Thanks for that Rik. Have to say its the best router I have used. It even lets you change the strength of the wireless signal to very high amounts (not legal in the UK). The N/M does not drop below 8 at any time and I have not lost any sync. Found a very decent dealer on Ebay to get one from.

Rik

I've seen several good reports on it, Bill.
