I'm currently with BE Unlimited and have decided to move to idNet following the Sky announcement.

I'm unclear as to whether my modem settings will change from the BE MPoA settings or not.  It seems idnet normally use VC-MUX 0/38 whereas BE use MPoA LLC/SNAP on 0/101?   In the same vein is the idnet service on LLU the same PPPoE as it is for BT? If the line stays on MPoA then there's no authentication whereas on VC-MUX/PPPoE then I'll need to authenticate. Is that right?

As it's the same DSLAM I'll be using I'm not sure it can be reconfigured like that.  I'd like to know exactly what I need to change so I can get things working again quickly.

If someone has experience of this transfer I'd appreciate their thoughts.

Not that I can answer your question specifically but as far as I'm aware those who've been moved to LLU by IDNet use the same login settings as they would with BTw . Otherwise we should have heard about it on here.

Seems reasonable.  I've just been assuming it won't change - I'm gradually coming to terms with the fact it will.

Thanks.
