Well, El Reg thinks so.

It reports that TimeUK are interested in the company, and that, "We also learned that the managing director and financial director at the Worcestershire-based firm, David Hards and Brad Walker, resigned on 14 June this year.

We now know from Company House records that two more senior members of the Evesham team, non-executive director Bill Joss and procurement director Shaun Morris, handed in their notice just a day later. Both men left Evesham on 27 June fuelling rumours that an imminent sale is likely."

What can I say? Politely, that is...  >:D

Indeed. The sale should be completed about the time my last warranty runs out. :)

Excellent timing in that case!

Isn't it, Lance. :) Can't say that I'm sorry they made such a mess of the machine in February - if they hadn't, I'd be stuck with whatever warranty support the new owners, if El Reg are correct, offer.

LMFAO....I hate to ruin my karma today but indulging in a bit of schadenfreude, while tarnishing the soul, does make one feel a little better over their shoddy customer service.

I do trust these monkeys ex-directors didn't receive a penny in severance pay or golden-goodbyes ? My only wish would be for a follow-up investigation from Companies House or the SFO and subsequent dis-barring from holding directorship roles for the foreseeable. Such is my disgust with the company they led...and yes I am still bitter !

Enough.

I thought you might notice this story, Scott. I suspect we both wouldn't mind a crack at the Evesham board somewhere deep in the bowels of the Tower of London.  :whip:

Time UK interested?
Neither company will be here to worry about then at the rate they go bust.

Rik

Indeed. Now, if Watford Electronics were to show an interest...  ;D

Just exploring the other forums here and discovered this thread. The three year warranty on my Evesham laptop runs out in October this year. I have to say though that I've had no reason for any complaints about Evesham, they have always been helpful and the only time that the machine had to go back to them it was swiftly repaired and returned. I don't want anything to do with Time though!

Rik

Evesham were good when I bought my first machine from the Noreen, but sadly they seem to have gone downhill, and the past three machines have given me grief. Things were so bad on the last of those that the company elected to give me a full refund rather than put things right. If you do a search in the forum on Evesham, you'll find the story on Scott's laptop and my last desktop...

The plot sickens. At least I have little vested interest in the outcome!  :evilb:
