What's App problems installing on android

trying to install this on my HTC One X but all i get is a message saying you need to sign into a Google account for authentication purposes ?

In the play store i sign into my google mail account ? 

But it still will not download ? Anyone know the issue?

Try clearing data of google play - settng> apps> manage>all> google play> clear data
