No IPV6 on GW6

I don't appear to be getting any IPV6 service from Idnet. Anyone else have the same problem?

It's possible that "generic" isn't the correct word, all I know is that some time back when I was having some problems my login was @uk.idnet.dsl4, Simon switched me to @idnet to see if that cured the trouble (it didn't

Have you tried rebooting your router / modem ?

I don't think your login tells which gateway you go on anymore since the new BT Links.

Hi, yes I did do a restart, but that didn't help, I did a power off and restarted after 30 minutes. I now seem to have some functionality but the ping test above doesn't look too clever.

Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have no access to the IPv6 Internet, or is not configured to use it. This may in the future restrict your ability to reach IPv6-only sites.

I get the same, I've changed over to OpenDNS IPv6 DNS servers to solve that.

I made the change when some people (including me) lost IPv6 after the recent BT link problem, a reboot was required to get IPv6 back, but after I had the same problem as you just reported.

I did email support but they said everything tested fine their side.

So I just changed which DNS servers I used as I couldn't be arsed to chase it.

Ive had some issues since last night.... If I leave the pooter for a while and come back, it will not connect to the internet. And this is across two routers. A restart is required to get back on. The red light keeps flashing as well...?

No idea how to resolve?

Mines just gone again... Right in the middle of a session so sleep mode is not affecting the situation. Red light appeared again. And a restart wasnt required. Left it for five minutes and it came back on.

Everything seems fine here. TBBQM is normal. Speedtests (TBB running as IPv6) normal. Everything is tickety boo
