Hi folks,

It seems my DSL has just gone down with similar symptoms (authentication failure) to the issues seen a couple of weeks back.
DSL remains synchronised although the Internet light has gone amber. I'm on the LLU service if that helps diagnosis.

Anyone else seeing these issues, or just me?  :)

Thanks

All up again here too. Good so far, will see how things are going. Do we get geeky pictures of the new routers?  ;D

50% good so far... BQM shows I had a very brief loss shortly after 3pm, IPv4 came back immediately but no sign of IPv6.

Anyone else got an IPv6 connection, or is it just me?

OK, ta.

I'll leave it until after 6pm (end of maintenance period) before emailing support.

I'm on stock firmware, but my log looks OK (no error messages) and the IPv6 page looks the same as it did before but like you- no throughput.

And the tbb IPv6 Readiness Test says No IPv6 address detected.

Same here with IPv6.

Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be xx.xx.xx.xx

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) appears to be IDNET Infinity Developments Limited

No IPv6 address detected [more info]

Good news! Your current configuration will continue to work as web sites enable IPv6. [more info]

You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 Internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites.

Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have no access to the IPv6 Internet, or is not configured to use it. This may in the future restrict your ability to reach IPv6-only sites.

Your readiness score
0/10

Bill

Yup, that's what I get :(

Hopefully someone at IDNet will check in here before they all go home.

Weird thing is though, my laptop and router both have IPv6 addresses  ???

I haven't checked the laptop, but yes- the iMac and the router both have IPv6 addresses. The router is a fixed IP so I'm not sure what difference that makes.

It seems as though the IDNet servers are logging me in correctly but not connecting to the outside world.

Hi All,

The maintenance is completed but I have asked them to look at the IPv6 side of things.

I too am seeing IPv6 routing issues. Can get to Google.com over IPv6, but not Linode VPS

tomp

When I ping my home IPv6 address from UK Linode, it tries to go to the IDNet Amsterdam router, and  then  gets a response saying destination unreachable.
