Normally, I always use POP3 email.

I've just logged into my webmail account and found 5 legitimate emails (from vodafone billing, flybe etc) in my junk folder.

Despite getting the occasional annoying spam, I've had to disable spam filtering on my account as this is now happening too frequently.

Has IDNET up'd the filtering on incoming mails? ie. more going to junk.

Yes, I know that I could white list them, but my list is becoming a crazy length.

Not a new complaint... my junk filters have been turned off for ages:

Note that the checking is still performed- if it thinks it's junk it puts ***SPAM*** at the front of the header but sends it anyway. A bit irritating, but it can be edited out if a reply is required.

Yes, I've been having problems too - lots of legitimate mail is winding up in the junk folder, while actual junk is coming into my inbox (my AV  programme recognises the latter as spam, and puts it into its own spam folder).  How do I turn off the IDNet junk filter?  I didn;t see anything under settings in webmail.

Many thanks.

You'll need to log in to your IDNet customer portal, then click Existing Accounts under the Email settings on the left.  Then go to Message Filters, and you should see the option to disable spam filters.  :)
