Can't get Mozilla to send outgoing emails through my IDNet account. I think I changed too many things with trying to remove the BT settings.

What port (is it default) and what type of security on the password should I set?
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Simon

Mine is smtp.idnet.com, port 587, authentication: password.  It's all on their website in the support pages.  :)

My outgoing email has become very slow this morning when its normally very fast. I had noticed the idnet.com on my Mac was slower than my domain mail when sending, now they all seem slow  ??? Could it be linked to the bandwidth issue?
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

I have been seeing the same problem. It would be nice to know what's going on. :dunno:

My email was slow but seems to be fine now, I think mines been more affected by the slowdowns due to bandwidth issues. Its ok over the weekend with less business use I'm guessing so far, hopefully IDNet will get that sorted next week. Last week my Mac mail was taking ages to send.

Yeah, seems fine now. I've really got to get my head around networking... :P

Decided to stop again. So I'm blaming the router.  :dunno:
