November the 29th is Apple's traditional Black Friday sales day, it's a one day shopping event. Not sure if there will be many bargains but it's expected that gift cards will be used instead of discounts.

Might be worth a look, but I can't see them offering too many bargains.

If there's anything at all off a 5s I'll be having one.

I had an email from a local(ish) Apple dealer trumpeting this... I'm thinking about an AppleTV to replace my old one so had a look.

Even at Black Friday prices they're still cheaper from Amazon ;D

My old one still does most of what I want, but it can't handle 1080p.

Some good deals off iPads, I'll wait till next year though, nothing my iPad 4 does that the air does better as I see it having had a play and the screen seems so thin and slightly flexible but its nice looking even if the one I saw had a few dents in the bezel and the anodising coming off in the shop. I hope next year the damn thing gets more than 1gig of ram. And f.e.c.k £65 for a smart case even if it is leather.

I use mine for stuff I've downloaded from iPlayer.  A couple of useful apps are, iPlayer Automator for downloading from iPlayer and Beamer.app for drag and drop streaming of files to the Apple TV.

I thought the same but I bought one anyway. Now I think it's worth every penny. It's hard to say why but like most Apple stuff it's well designed and does its job with style.

Still not worth £65 in my mind. I have seen better cases for the older ipads than the Apple ones that had a habit of peeling away from the right hand side (smart case £45) Apple tax is not always worth it, although the case for the iPhone 5S/5 is great. Swings and roundabouts.  :) Best thing they did was Apple care but even thats now Applecare+ which is good as it covers two accidental damage events but has to be now purchased within 30 days, it used to be normal applecare and was within a year. More Apple greed, buy it now or you are stuffed.
