A month after they remove their email servers? Yeah... because tweeting is more convenient than 1) A Text 2) An app/phone software to DO THIS NATIVELY or 3) A WEBSITE!!!!

Sorry. The stupidity of these companies is beyond hope.  :slap:
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

I wonder how secure account access through Twitter is?

It saves money, ts not to help expedite problems, and I think in a few years you will be hard pressed to actually be able to call a support like for any of the mobile providers  :(

Yeah, "saves money" to the point of pointlessness. As in, I'll repeat, we are in a digital age. Adding online (html) support for universal access, or handset apps for more involved access would be the real solution. Going through a third party (Twitter) is all about moving around the costs (which helps no one, and becomes a pass the parcel so everyone misses out with these new hidden costs being moved around). Then after it all, multiple accounts/services/sites means less security (2 points of failure now over just 1).

Security was my thought too.

I've been spending a bit of time on the GiffGaff forums, trying to offer some genuine help to people but it seems to be a race to post first and some of the complete tripe that is posted is unbelievable, people don't seem to research and write proper instructions as I do they will just post something like switch it off and back on or text settings when the person's SIM won't actually connect to the network.

I have earned about 20 quid in payback thus far.
