Anyone else notice several 'new hardware found' bubbles after restarting to complete the monthly patching process?

Mine did this yesterday and today it stalled during startup so switched it off and then back on and was told a recent software or hardware change caused Windows booting to fail.

It asked if I wanted to run startup repair or start normally, selected start normally and all appears ok.

That's not something I've experienced. It certainly seemed like a fairly major patch though, it took a while to apply even on an SSD.

It wanted to reboot mine, right when I was in the middle of something, so I told it to get stuffed!  Then, when I powered down the PC, it started to install the updates, so hopefully it will finish them off when I start it up again.

PC has started ok since so guess it could be just a small glitch.

Ran a test on the hard drive with SeaTools and all ok.

Mine wanted to re install all drivers related to the USB, so I let it, all seem to be working Ok :fingers:

Which is why I switich off auto updates.  They usually correct the errors by the end of the month.
