side bar menu things

dont know the right name for them but you know those annoying...for me any way...links to the likes of facebook/twitter/email etc that pop out on some sites, from the left or right and just stick there, how do you get rid of them or stop them popping out.

they drive me mad   :)

Download Adblockplus - it stops pretty much everything for me.   :D

yeah i have that but for some reason its not stopping them. may be im not adding them right  :dunno:

You did add a subscription when you got adblock plus didnt you, Baz? That blocks everything automatically pretty much. I never see any of these side things, I see no adverts at all.

yeah ive got Easylist which looks like it updated yesterday  :dunno:   didnt know it auto updated, ive had ABP for ages and it just worked, never had to change much

@ Gary   here is one of the sites I was on   http://www.tauntonleisure.com    I didnt notice before but there is small arrows to collapse the menu, its very light grey lol but on every new page from same site they pop up again
