Would you recommend it? It's cheaper, but I am somewhat reluctant to recommend it to anyone with more than 1 user on the PC (or employee) as managing logins is going to be a pain for most.

The nice thing about the full install/purchase option, is someone can be given the PC login details, without having access to a live account etc. So, if I get Office 365 1 user, is that limited to just me, requiring me to login, or is it just "1 instance" and anyone using the PC can use it without entering the Live.com password?

I miss the old days of simple physical media. :(

I used it for (informal) home working, and have kept it on since I retired. Using cloud functions requires a login/password, but I also have the one user licence that allows the download of a complete suite of office products on (I think it might be up to 5?? -need to check) PCs, which I use on one PC and two laptops, and of course anyone using them can use the downloaded programs without restriction or login. Also have the mobile suite on two Android phones under the same subscription.

Thanks. If I know the options and how it works, I can pass the choice on to others, as they will be using it, so it's their choice/needs. I'll be sticking to Libre/Open Office, but know many prefer MS. :)
