I seem to get a lot of Adobe updates, are they really needed or should I just ignore them ?

For flash? Yes update. That software gets dangerous bugs/exploits/hacks too often.

Never ignore flash updates as long as they are real ones. There has been some nasty security holes recently.

very true, I dont need reader or Java, but id love to be able to never use flash too
