I can't really tell how far past the concept stage they have got. I've seen a few claims recently for huge leaps in computing power but I've yet to be convinced that any of them will be delivered. It's rather interesting though.

Yep. Memresistors are decades old as a tech, just not cost effective or reliable for actual production yet... so could be another few decades again.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
