Back in the day some (all?) of the home packages included a small amount of storage space for photos and so on.  Looking through the dashboard, it seems to have vanished, or at least mine has.

Anyone know if this is still part of the packages or if it has gone and any photos on the server with it.

Simon

I asked IDNet, and webspace is no longer supplied with the new packages. If you had set it up with one of the old packages it will remain but you will not see the details in the new portal. You can still login to the old portal and retrieve the details however.

Thanks Simon but every time I try to reach the old portal I keep getting redirected.  Do you have a URL for a direct connection?

Edit:  I found a direct link to the photos page but it keeps telling me I don't have permission.  It doesn't even throw up a password field.  Looks like it's all gone then. :(  Might be best to try support.  Thanks for your help.

There's a link on the login page of the new portal, but it's:

Thanks Simon.  Must be going blind since I didn't see it  :)  I've emailed support and got a response within 5 minutes asking for more info, so they're on the case.  I'll let you know the outcome in case anyone else has photos stored there.

Now I could use space on my own domain, but this was some time 5 years ago and I just left them with iDNet since they are not photos I or anyone else access frequently.  I imagine most people use Flickr as it's simpler and no doubt one reason iDNet dropped the service.

Just a follow up.  Appently I had no index in the web root directory, so Brian supplied me with another link which works.

The files will remain in place - I'm assuming until I change package which will happen if/when I move to fibre.  I can still ftp, either to do any changes or download the whole site in order to move it elsewhere, so I should be covered.

Simon

Given that there's no mention of anything about it on the new site, I doubt they'd just delete your files without notice.  I'm on one of the new packages, and my webspace is still there.
