BBC News app update

Anyone got it?  What do you think?   I've managed to set it up to receive the same content as before, but it seems to involve quite a bit more 'clicking', or whatever the touchscreen equivalent is.

I currently often find the HTML(5?) websites perform much better than the apps for most providers. Even those who put a LOT of work into both. Sadly, it does mean dependence on a 3g/wifi signal. :(
Pity we cannot just have the HTML app as a local app/download/cache.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

I've been having to refresh the app manually a lot when I start it. With the old app it would refresh everything when you started it, the new version seems hit and miss.

Seems fine to me. I like the ability to have favourites - like my football team.

I'm getting used to it, but find it more 'fiddly' than the old one, and I think it might be better if the videos were just in a separate section, and not in the middle of the other main pages.
