Another forum I frequent was subject to a DDoS attack a couple of weeks ago, one of the users posted this http://map.ipviking.com/ a graphical view of some of the attack traffic on the internet.

Bloody hell, it's like War Games!  Is it not slightly odd that the UK doesn't seem to figure in that at all?

That site looks like something you might see on the screen of a computer in a Hollywood movie but does seem to provide some interesting info too.
