Well my Fan Oven arrived OK along with a GAS HOB..grrrrrrr.

How can they send a GAS HOB when I had ordered a Ceramic Hob, which is obviously electric, it had " GAS " stamped on it in 12 languages, best of all, I don't even have any gas in the village, I just knew I shouldn't have ordered it from Comet... >:(

So out of two items, they manage to get one wrong, when I asked how they could get it wrong, the answer was:  We employ a lot of students in the warehouse during the Summer...nuf said.

Correct item to be delivered on Thursday, hopefully....we shall see. :'( :'(

My Euro's turned up as expected, correct, on time, with 2 initials on the invoice.

I only ordered the Oven / hob from Comet because they had 20% off last week, serves me right for being a tight wad.  ;D ;D

Gas hobs are much better, offer so much more control when cooking. I can make to with electric ovens, but still prefer gas there too!

Halogen hobs are very similar to gas in performance.

That is fine if you live in civilised Essex Lance, we've got no gas, there is no gas ..only that passed by the cows in the next field..  ;D ;D
