Having, at last got a stable system I would like to do a complete backup. Now there has been a lot of discussion of backups in this thread, sadly they have only confused me. What is a simple way of backing up everything, then of course restoring it? How do I know that the copy I make will be a good copy if I need to restore at some future date? How frequently would I need to make a backup? I already make regular backups of my data. Is there a site that is clear to a simple man like me where I can garner this knowledge please? I am running under Windows 10 now, if that makes a difference.

I'm not sure if it's the best solution available, but why not try the built in Windows backup utility?
