Well you have to allow for inflation - surely you must accept that?  What is it running at these days?  Gosh 0% - that's HUGE!

mmmm - IDNet resell BT Infinity. That's not increasing in price - yet, but if it does.......

In the boardroom of BT group:

CEO: "Well, we're buying a mobile network and have started our own MVNO which should deliver some revenue over time but it's dented our cash pile somewhat and the shareholders won't like that, what can we do?"
CFO: "Well, we still have lots of landlines installed although people aren't making calls like they used to, I've got an idea, let's up the line rental by a pound for BT Retail customers"
CEO: "Genius! Can we get do it for wholesale customers too?"
CFO: "Ofcom might take a dim view of that as abuse of Wholesale/Openreach's market position and we need to keep the heat off while the review is going on"
CEO: "Good point, might be something to look at again at a later date though"

;D  I note that the Mail article says
Quotethe price per minute for calls to UK landlines and 0870 numbers will nudge up 6.9 per cent, from 9.58p a minute to 10.24p a minute.
but I believe these calls are free with IDNet.  I've even stopped using the Say no to 0870 website.   :D
