Windows Accounts

A friend has had a major drama with her computer, and it seems that her Administrator account has been corrupted, as basically, it appears to have been wiped clean (from what I have been told).

Her other problem was that the computer was so low on disc space, it would not allow her to create a new Admin account. 

That issue has now been resolved, to a point, by running the Disc Cleanup utility in Windows XP (yes, I know), which freed up nearly 3Gb of drive space.

She has now created a new Admin account, but it's basically like starting from scratch.  Is there an easy way to transfer the settings (desktop icons, etc) from the old Admin account to the new one?  All of her data seems to be intact, as that was on a separate partition of the drive, but everything now maps to C: drive locations, when the documents are all on D: drive.

I'm not too familiar with Windows User Accounts as I've only ever had the one on my own machine.

Thanks Glenn, I did kind of know about that as I've used that method on my own machine.  I was more thinking of whether there was a way to just copy all settings from the old Admin account to the new one (if, indeed, that is possible).  Could she simply copy the Desktop folder, if it still exists, for example?
