Have I been overcharged?

I have ADSL2 MAX Lite which according to my invoice and dashboard gives me 50Gb a month download allowance.  In March, I used 31.81 Gb of bandwidth which is significantly more than usual but well within my limit.  I then received an extra bill of £18 for going over my limit.  I don't understand what is going on.   :dunno:

Does your payment cycle run from the 1st to the 1st, Clive?

No, it's the 28th to the 28th Simon.  But the overall effect is the same.  For various reasons I downloaded more than usual during that March period but nowhere near my limit.  There was also a 4 GB upload I should add.

I've now resolved this with IDNet.  Simon in accounts says I was charged the excess usage in error because the computer had reverted to an old package.  A refund is on the way.   :thumb:

I've had my present package for two years!   ::)  But the refund was sent within an hour or so.   :)

I had the exact same thing a week or two ago - billed according to my old package. :nono:
Dropped an email to support as soon as I spotted it and Simon sorted it out straight away.

I wonder how many other customers have had the same problem?

:D If my billing reverted to my old package it'd be cheaper! Ooh, I've alerted them haven't I? (My usage has gone down, substantially).
