Sophisticated hackers 'aim to put net out of action'

Unidentified hackers are carrying out a campaign to find out how to take down the net, warns a security expert.  China or Russia most likely to be behind attacks.

In other news the Government has given the go-ahead for China to build Hinkley Point.   ;D

"The Net" isn't just one entity though, is it?  I can see how they could target key parts, but I can't believe it's possible to bring the whole thing down.
